Broadside is an organisation located in the southside of Glasgow for the support of art & design practices, with a particular interest in language, the written word & publishing. Broadside offers affordable & secure workspace alongside a small exhibition and event space.
In between exhibitions the main gallery space is available for hire for meetings, workshops, projects etc. We have tables and chairs available on site. We work on a sliding scale email us at hello@broadside.space for more information.
If you are an unfunded (left) political organisation we offer free space for meetings. Broadside is completely against racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, ableism and classism and will not host any events or organisations that spread or uphold these positions.
Our space is not available to rent for the public presentation of art or design—if you have an idea of something you would like to make public please email and we can start a discussion.
Our main public space is accessed via a street-level door with a small (8cm) step. We have a publicly accessible bathroom at the back of the space however this is up a flight of 4 stairs. If you have any particular access requirements please get in touch via email and we will try our best to accommodate them.
